Sr. Software Development Engineer

Design and develop software in C and Python for distributed platforms; operate on networking technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching and routing); design and develop software solutions for Deep Packet Inspection; use C modeling for DFA/NFA engines for project development; work with x86, MIPS microprocessor-based systems developing software under Unix/Linux multicore environments; solve problems for large-scale distributed systems environments (large web systems, distributed databases); develop effective unit-test plans and execute them to validate correct operation of software; troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues; ensure adherence to engineering standards and procedures, and communicate with stakeholders and team members to provide updates.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science plus 5 years progressive experience. Experience to include designing and developing software in C and Python and using C modeling for DFA/NFA engines for project development.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
