Job TitleSolution ArchitectWhat does a successful Solution Architect do at Fiserv?A Solution Architect role combines the responsibilities of an Integration Testing Architect with a focus on ensuring the quality of the solutions being designed and implemented.
This role is critical in promising that the solutions meet all requirements and adhere to best practices and industry standards.
The candidate will primarily look after end-to-end Integration testing, where individual components or modules of a software application are combined and tested together to ensure that they work as intended in a complex integrated environment.
What you will do:
As a Solution Architect you are responsible for developing a complete integration testing strategy that outlines what needs to be tested, how it will be tested, and what success criteria will be used to determine if the integration is successful.
The architect also creates detailed test plans that specify the scope of integration testing, the test environment, test data, test schedules, and resource requirements.
Your responsibility will be to ensure that we have integrated surround components, required software and data and are set up and configured to mimic a production like environment.
You need to have deep understanding of the entire software system, including its architecture, components, and dependencies.
This understanding is crucial for identifying potential integration points and testing requirements.
You will design integration test cases that cover different integration touch points and test various aspects such as data flow, error handling, and interoperability between components.
This position will require hands-on test execution, as well as overseeing execution of integration tests.
Maintaining detailed records of test results, defects, and testing progress.
Providing reports to stakeholders on the status of integration testing efforts.
You will work with cross-functional teams, which may involve coordinating with product, development, test engineers, and automation teams to ensure tests are carried out effectively and efficiently.
You will provide guidance and mentorship to quality assurance teams and developers to nurture their professional growth and development.
What you will need to have:
Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldA minimum of 7 years of experience as a Solutions Architect in FinTech industry or in a similar role with expertise in various technology stacks and architecturesSolid understanding of payment domain including payment gateway and payment processors that handles the technical aspects of transaction processing.
Solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
Strong knowledge of integration concepts, protocols, and relevant technologies (e.
g.
, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Linux, Oracle DB, MySQL, Micro Services, JBoss, ISO8583, AWS Concepts etc).
Salary Range$128,800.
00 - $219,000.
00These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California.
Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
