Day to day activities range from testing, building, and debugging prototypes and experiments in the lab (from both off the shelf parts and, when required, custom parts); computer aided design and simulation, cross functional interaction with adjacent teams, colleagues across global research, and external vendors; and learning new skills to advance future products in the pipeline. Required Education:
B.S. or M.S., 0-5 years work experience Candidate must:
o Possess clear, concise writing and communication skills o Read and create circuit schematics and block diagrams o Have solder abilities o Willingness to use hands in the lab to build prototypes and experiments o Be organized o Enjoy working with a team o Enjoy following trends within the industry o Positive personality Candidate knowledge required in one or more of the following areas:
o Analog circuit design (op-amps, TIAs, DC-DC converters LDO, SMPS, buck-boost , CMOS or BJT circuit design, KVL & KCL) o Digital circuit design (microcontrollers, logic gate design) o FPGA/PLD design (Verilog or VHDL) o Transmission line theory (VSWR, microstrip, coplanar, twinax, etc.) o Electromagnetic theory o S-parameters (2 port, 4 port) o Passive RF Techniques (filter design, matching networks) o PCB design o Programming (C, Python, etc.) o iOS/Android app development o High frequency signal integrity (crosstalk, eye diagrams) o UNIX programming and scripting o Fiber optic communication o Semiconductor physics Familiar with some of the following equipment/software:
o Spectrum analyzer o Vector network analyzer o Oscilloscope o Logic analyzer o Bit error rate tester o CST Microwave Studio (or HFSS) o TDR o SPICE (or similar circuit simulator) o Matlab o PCB design tool (Allegro, KiCAD, etc.) o Signal generator o Other basic EE hardware (DMM, power supply, etc.) Nice to have:
o USB protocol understanding (high level, physical, link, or application layer) o Signal analysis (modulation techniques) o IC design cycle to silicon experience This position does not support visa assistance
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical Engineering, Hardware DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
