We're looking for an experienced technical communications professional to define and lead the communications strategy for the Office of the CTO. This strategic role will work directly with the Chief Technology Officer and other senior leaders on a communications program that engages with a diverse set of audiences, including employees, customers, partners, and analysts. The ideal candidate has previous experience leading communications for a CTO or similar highly technical executive. Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effortlessly build and maintain strong relationships with executives and staff. In this role, you will:
Drive a strategic executive communications program for the CTO in partnership with PR, marketing, AR, and IR. Partner with the CTO and cross-functional teams to develop internal messaging and presentations for company updates, key initiatives, industry issues, and other topics. Work directly with executives and other stakeholders to develop and execute various external communication materials, including blogs, media responses, speeches, video scripts, keynotes, etc. Remote U.S. role within a reasonable commuting distance to one of the following offices:
Sunnyvale, CA; Irvine, CA; Austin, TX; Seattle, WA; Kirkland, WA; St. Louis, MO; Boston, MA; New York City, NY. What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 7 years working in corporate communications, including executive communications experience, preferably in computer software or information security. Proven success developing and executing strategic communications across various channels in support of senior-level executives, preferably with a CTO or other technical leader; ability to coach, influence, and give feedback to a leader. Excellent English writing skills and a demonstrated ability to grasp complex and highly specialized technical concepts and communicate them clearly through words and pictures Experience managing projects through multi-step clearance and publication processes High degree of flexibility with the ability to work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
