Sr. Internal QMS Auditor, Quality Management
Job summaryAs a Senior Internal Quality Auditor, using your experience in Consumer, and Medical Product Quality Systems, you will lead audits capturing actionable insights that form our commitment meeting regulation, and continuous improvement of the Amazon Devices, and Services (Lab126) Quality Management System.
Auditing activities covering all phases of the audit, including preparation, planning, conducting audits, reporting, and driving corrective actions and verification actions of audit findings across the organization.
Key job responsibilitiesOur Role as internal auditors.
Schedule and conduct internal audit of Amazon Devices and Services departments, supporting suppliers and contract manufactures, and M&A business.
As internal auditors, we acquire an understanding of specific departments and product operations and risks that can impact our business and customers, and provide executive leadership team with an objective view of the health of the quality management systems.
A day in the lifeThe audit process addresses all aspects of the Product Development Life-cycle covering Hardware and Software development, together with supporting functions, including:
Manufacturing Operations, Program Management, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Logistics, and Configuration Management.
You will work with regulatory, and registration bodies as needed to support compliance, and certification.
About the teamAs part of Amazon Devices, and Services Quality & Lean, The Quality Management Systems team, consists of Quality System Process Engineers, and Internal Auditors.
Our mission is to establish and manage the Amazon Devices and Services QMS, as well as the FDA regulated QMS.
We provide mechanisms for training, automating QMS operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and tracking opportunities and findings through to closure.
We educate teams on the value of QMS, and support teams as they establish their quality system.
We share best practices and effective mechanisms, identifying opportunities for the QMS to add value.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
