Manager for our UX Design team.
In this role you will work with a talented group of UX Designers to build and scale Alexa experiences in cars.
You will show design and thought leadership to ensure our products are both trusted and loved by our customers.
As a role model for mixed method design & research best practices, you will leverage a deep understanding of customer needs, strong technical acumen, and strategic long-term business thinking to drive vision, execution of next generation automotive experiences.
You will work with cross-discipline teams to guide roadmaps, requirements, research inputs, product validation, and keep the quality bar high.
You are a consumer-focused, data-driven, creative leader who has successfully designed and delivered high impact products at global scale.
You are a sought-after advocate for design excellence.
You lead with strong, hands on, design and are skilled at developing and socializing innovative vision throughout organizations.
Key job responsibilitieso Defining and driving the UX vision & identity for Alexa experiences in carso Going deep on customer insights, research, product analytics, and competitive intelligence to identify unseen opportunities, and drive product & experience innovationo Leading brainstorming sessions and design reviews for quick, iterative user research for ideation and concept refinemento Create and rapidly iterate on ideas in order to develop them, via storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes, or other novel methodso Evangelizing initiatives to a diverse audience, across business and technical teams in both ad-hoc and formal presentationso Staying on the cutting edge of what's new in technology and user experience, identifying, experimenting with acting on new technologies and interaction patterns.
o Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Amazon as well as with our automotive partnerso Inspiring, leading and developing a team of UX Designerso Contributing to the future direction of design at Amazon with the larger Amazon Design communityAbout the teamAlexa Auto's vision is to bring the Alexa experience into the car, so you can take her with you on the go.
