Sr. Manager, Corporate Strategy
The Strategy and Corporate Development team at Juniper Networks seeks an exceptional professional to help define and drive the company's growth strategy. This individual will take a leadership role in corporate strategic planning and development, portfolio strategy and investment allocation, industry and competitive analysis, and business model transformation across all platforms and technologies for Juniper. The role requires close interaction with senior executives throughout the company on a wide array of business issues, including formulating strategy, driving strategy through execution, and evaluating and implementing strategic investment decisions. This person will therefore have a significant opportunity to impact the growth, direction and future of Juniper. This role will include developing deep understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on core strategic issues. You will work in a collaborative and open team environment on a daily basis, both within the Strategy and Corporate Development team, and with the Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Finance and Operations teams/stakeholders. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Structuring and independently leading high-stakes cross-functional strategy projects, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the company Developing an understanding of and staying current with the competitive landscape Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on core strategic issues Evaluating strategic investment decisions; alliances, M&A, equity investments Performing financial analysis on investment and acquisition opportunities and in support of negotiations with external parties Structuring and executing portfolio analysis to balance investment and maximize return on R&D and Sales investment across the enterprise and strategic horizons Facilitating joint problem-solving with mid-level and senior-level business partners Authoring and delivering high-impact presentations and plans and every level of the organization Generating creative, action-oriented insights and recommendations Working closely with business partners to implement recommendations PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS MBA, or demonstrated equivalent 8
years of total professional experience with 4
years post MBA working at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or corporate strategy function with strong exposure to technology industry Experience in B2B technology preferred Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving, able to independently drive analysis of complex business issues Strong leadership and communications skills and demonstrated ability to influence senior executives Track record of working across multiple business units/functions to drive consensus by building and driving cross-functional teams PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS Comfortable in lead or support roles across a variety of projects and responsibilities, data crunching, presentation building, executive briefing on the same day Ability to develop trusted peer to peer and executive advisory relationships across a diverse set of stakeholder communities Executive presence, comfortable interacting with senior business leaders Exceptional written and oral communication skills High energy, positive attitude and motivated Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment OTHER INFORMATION Relocation is available for this position As Juniper is a US Federal Contractor, proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination is required for all U.S. employees. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
