Hardware Engineer 3
About the Position:
Must be a self-motivated individual to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment with short product development cycles. You must be team oriented and have extensive experience with Mechanical Analysis and troubleshooting of complex electromechanical systems. You will also lead evaluations of latest technologies including liquid cooling, connector technology, optics cooling, ASIC packaging, etc. This job function involves interaction with other functional groups and coordination with component vendors
Responsibilities:
MSME is required, PhD is preferred At least 3years of experience in electro-mechanical design with a concentration in Simulation and Analysis of products; working experience in Telecom and/or Networking industries are a plus A working knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes for low and mid volume production is a must. Excellent understanding of Electro-Mechanical Packaging, Thermal, Power, NEBS and EMI issues is also required Understanding of high speed signal routings and large system installation in Data Centers & Telco industries are a plus Must be a present user of a 3D solid modeling package, proficiency with Solidworks would be preferable and working knowledge of EPDM is plus. Must be able to do Tolerance Analysis of complex systems and have used FEA tools including Solidworks and ANSYS In depth knowledge of Shock/Vibration is preferred Must be fluent user of Agile or similar PDM tools and understand and ECR process Minimum
Qualifications:
3 plus years of experience of Mechanical Design of complex electromechanical assemblies using 3D CAD software Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3 plus years of experience in Mechanical Analysis using ANSYS or similar tool Preferred
Qualifications:
PhD in Mechanical engineering with focused on mechanical structural analysis As Juniper is a US Federal Contractor, proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination is required for all U.S. employees. $80K -- $100K
