Job Description:
Must be a self motivated individual to work in a fast paced high energy environment with short product development cycles. This person must be team oriented and willing to work as part of project team also takes small design projects from concept through release. Job requires experience as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for design and development of rack mount products for the ISP and Telco markets. Also, must be very hands-on and have experience of preparing chassis for thermal, EMC and environmental tests. Job could require testing and reworking of chassis using tools and using machine shop equipment. Job function involves interaction with other functional groups and candidate will also perform, troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems, and will create and release deliverables including drawings, BOM's. etc. Skills and
Experience:
5-10 years' experience in electro-mechanical design with a concentration in Telco and/or networking products and must have work experience in Telecom industries for at least few years. A working knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes for low and mid volume production is a must. Familiarity with electro-mechanical packaging, thermal, Power, NEBS and EMI issues. Must be a present user of a 3D solids modeling package, proficiency with Solidworks would be preferable and working knowledge of EPDM is plus. Must be able to do Tolerance Analysis of complex systems and have working knowledge of FEA Must be fluent user of Agile or similar PDM tools and understand and ECR process Experience with IDF & ECAD-MCAD transfer process is preferred Education:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
