About the Position:
Sr. Software Engineer to develop software for SRX-128 Technology integration (SDWAN).
Responsibilities:
Design and implement complex algorithms for implementing SVR technologies in SRX platforms. Work closely with product management team to define requirements and map to Software features. Software development and maintenance including triage, analysis and code modification for reported problems Develop detail functional specification and software system design for feature development and mentor junior team members Minimum
Qualifications:
BS / MS / PhD in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 10 years of experience as an individual contributor in a Networking Product development company. Strong C, system design, debugging/problem identification and solving skills and ability to handle customer escalations. Clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements, and project life cycle Strong problem-solving and communication skills required, with the ability to work harmoniously in a dynamic group. Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, systems, data structures and programming practices Good understanding and experience with UNIX/Linux internals. Thorough knowledge of TCP/ IP, IPv6 networking protocols. Good understanding on basic networking including OSI layer, TCP/IP, Fragmentation/segmentation. Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with multi-core (SMP) and multithreaded platforms. Experience with stateful TCP/UDP/IP flow-based datapath development is a strong plus.
