Software Engineer 4
The position requires a B.S. in Computer Science or related field and 5
years of experience as a system test engineer for networking technologies, IPv4/IPv6/Multicast forwarding, MPLS VPNs, EVPN, and HA features. Strong knowledge with Layer 2, Layer 3, MPLS, and Multi-Service protocols. Must have the ability to create comprehensive test plans and reports, understand and execute HALT/HASS testing, have experience in a Linux/UNIX environment, and strong Python programming with clear understanding of the Robot test framework. Should have good hands-on with Spirent/IXIA Test generator equipment.
Responsibilities:
Engineer will be responsible for the verification and quality assurance of complete deployment scenario tests with regard to multi-dimensional scaled solutions for Juniper's large customer accounts and Solutions. Design, develop, and implement Test topologies and test-cases based on the Business needs of customers Execute the test-cases, debug the problems/issues effectively and follow up with the respective engineering team for issue resolutions Automate the test scenarios in efficient way for regressive tests The candidate must possess outstanding problem solving skills in the diagnosis and resolution of customer issues Generate a nice test report for field and customer consumption Mandatory:

1. Analyze customer requirements documents (CCRs, NDRs, Topologies, Test Plans, Operational Events, Negative Test Scenarios, etc.) 10% 2. Full test case automation using Python, Robot, and our Toby Automation Framework (100%) 20% 3. Design/Create detailed customer specific test topologies and test plans to properly address the given customer or Market Segment scenario 10% 4. Execution, PR creation/triage/verification/closure 45% 5. Customer Experienced Defects (CEDs) analysis, replication, verification, etc. 5% 6.
