Associate Director, Market Research - Hybrid Opportunity!

Overview Under the direction of the Director, Market Research and Stakeholder Engagement, actively participates in several program work groups to help them understand the environment and set strategy for the future. Offers strategic and tactical advice to teams on the need for research. When market research is appropriate and feasible, develops, implements and manages quantitative and qualitative market research activities to support customer-focused product development and customer satisfaction with Joint Commission products and services. Assists in formulating strategic plans for products and services. Actively participates in new product development processes for particular teams. Develops and writes market research tools used to evaluate and collect information to assist the Joint Commission. Assesses Joint Commission's competition in various areas and the attitudes and needs concerning them. Sets priorities of research time and budget across multiple strategic business units. Oversees the work of vendors contracting with the Joint Commission, as delegated by the Director, Market Research and Stakeholder Engagement. Responsibilities Participate in Voice of the Customer Oversight Team Participate in multiple advisory council meetings Designs and conducts both primary and secondary market research activities to measure and evaluate needs, expectations, and levels of satisfaction among Joint Commission customers, prospective customers, and other appropriate parties. Collects information on customer needs and attitudes, analyzes the data, and incorporates it into the product development process. In collaboration with strategic business units and other internal stakeholders, makes recommendations for product content, pricing, packaging and target audiences based on research results. Works with all levels of internal staff to determine the objectives and goals of the research projects. Responsibilities include:
Selection of appropriate research methodology for each project Designing questionnaires Selection of a reliable and valid sample for studies Writing requests for proposals to select outside vendors for research projects Analyzes data, writes reports, oral and written presentation of results, and prepares conclusions and recommendations of data. Recruit participants for focus groups and interviews Facilitates focus groups/interviews, develops discussion guides and summarizes findings. Conducts competitive research studies and analyzes competitive information. Collects and analyze market data to inform business plans. Oversees vendors conducting market research as contractors, as delegated by the Director, Market Research and Stakeholder Engagement. TJCCW Qualifications The level of knowledge of research equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a master's degree in marketing, market research or business or equivalent work experience. 5-7 years of experience in the broad range of market research experience, preferably in a health care-related field. Experience must include various types of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, project design, primary and secondary collection and analysis. Experience with vendor selection and management for various types of research. Project management skills necessary to manage and coordinate multiple projects with tight deadlines. Analytical and statistical skills necessary to effectively interpret research needs and gather, tabulate, and analyze research results. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively present research findings and recommendations, and ensure that the findings are not used inappropriately. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with internal staff at various levels within the organization as well as with external customers and vendors. Ability to guide the process of selecting appropriate research methodologies and avoiding inappropriate ones. Team-oriented approach to completing projects. Strong computer background to be able to work efficiently and effectively with several software packages, including statistical software. Willingness to travel as needed. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
