The Role:
As a Sr.
Manager, Operations Program Management in the Advanced Product Operations (APO) group, you will be responsible for managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) for complex electronics products.
APO works on bringing category-defining products to market; products that will be the next Echo or Kindle and help solve critical customer problems.
You will lead a team responsible for the operational execution of bringing these products from concept to production.
This position will partner with cross-functional operations and engineering teams across Amazon to help assess product viability, define product requirements to optimize for cost/quality/manufacturability, and identify solutions to tough technical and manufacturing challenges.
The right individual will have expertise across advanced technologies, consumer electronics, engineering, operations, and manufacturing and leverage that expertise to position emerging products for production and market success.
You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
Elements of success for this role includes strong technical project management, leadership, and influencing skills.
In this role, you will:
Deliver results on complex projects involving teams across the company and products across the consumer, health & wellness, smarthome, and B2B spaceWork with engineering and product development teams to define business and operational requirements and the manufacturing capabilities necessary to enable successful NPI execution Understand and assess capabilities across existing and potential global contract manufacturing partners Participate in design and product reviews through DFM, PFM, functional test development, quality control, and capacity modeling Develop tactical and strategic solutions to challenging manufacturing, operations, and process problems Accurately scope out program resource requirements (NRE, headcount, engagement model) Support prototype manufacturing and assessment Represent Operations in leadership program reviews Serve as a trusted Operations partner for engineering and product teams Motivate and drive the team to achieve high individual and group performance goals Drive continuous improvements in cost, quality, and delivery Monitor supply and fulfillment of devices This role will require some travel.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
