Time and Attendance (TAA) is leading the charge to build products that support our global workforce of passionate Amazonians! We are looking for talented engineers like you to build products and tools to accurately track billions of hours per year, and to accurately pay employees.
Key job responsibilitiesAs an SDE in TAA, you'll work closely with some of the brightest software engineers and help solve a variety of business and technical challenges by leveraging Amazon's industry-leading technologies.
You should be comfortable diving deep into requirements, be able to quickly identify solutions to challenges discovered during development, and be ready to work with some of the latest cloud computing technologies.
You and your fellow engineers are responsible for designing and building state-of-the art flexible, interoperable and scalable solutions on native AWS platform.
You will help invent new features using AI/ML and help business partners to take decisions proactively.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing and operations.

A day in the lifeThe initial on-boarding for this role will include job shadowing with team members/peers and partnering teams to understand our customers and support needs of existing applications.
Post on-boarding, the role will focus on building solutions using cutting edge technologies on native AWS platform.
You will develop engineering systems which handle the scale of billions of transactions.
You will closely interact with Product managers who gather requirements from end customers and work with Data Engineers and Functional Analysts who work on core TAA systems.
About the teamThe MyTime Tools and Products team consists of subject matter experts that support both global Amazon employees and partnering teams within the larger People Experience and Technology organization.
We assist in building Tools & Products to solve complex business problems in TAA space and support the existing systems.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
