Responsibilities:
2D and 3D CAD modeling and drafting using Solidworks and/or NX Automated Electro Mechanical Fixture Design, Documentation, Tolerance Analysis Need prior PLM software experience, examples include but are not limited to:
Windchill PLM, Teamcenter, Autodesk PLM, Agile Work closely with cross-functional team members, and clients to produce high quality engineering solutions Create and maintain Bill of Materials, and similar project documents Produce creative and diverse project solutions and deliverables Collaborate with Validation and Engineering teams Other administrative functions as required Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or Manufacturing Minimum 5-10 years' experience in automation, mechanical engineering, or similar Need prior PLM software experience, examples include but are not limited to:
Windchill PLM, Teamcenter, Autodesk PLM, Agile Experience with Solidworks Skilled in reading and interpreting electric, electronic, and mechanical drawings and schematics.
Strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Basic networking/communication knowledge (such as Modbus, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, protocols) required.
Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously Ability to work independently and with teams.
Desired Skills:
Tool and fixture design and GD &T experience Experience with Solidworks, NX, and Teamcenter Experience with Lean manufacturing practices (Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping) Design and application knowledge of ergonomic and machine safety standards Experience with panel design, motion and motor control systems, and logic controller programming, HMI, C#, Python, C, using SoC and DRY techniques is a plus.
