Airspace is a tech-enabled freight forwarder that makes time-critical shipping faster, safer, and more transparent through people, service and technical innovation! Driver Programs:
Airspace has two driver programs; the Commander program and the Dedicated Commander program.
All drivers that are activated on our platform are part of the Commander program by default, where you will review and choose which on demand job offers you want to complete within our app.
Drivers in the Commander program are eligible to be part of the Dedicated Commander program but are not automatically enrolled.
What We're Looking For:
Airspace is looking for an independent contractor driver that owns and will use their personal cargo van to be part of the Dedicated Commander program! In this program, you will complete deliveries of surgical cases to hospitals and medical facilities for a customer you get assigned to support within the medical device space on a committed daily shift basis.
What Are The Requirements? Own a Cargo Van Own a handcart / dolly Must be 21
years old Pass a Driver Screening Have a smartphone Have valid vehicle insurance that does NOT exclude business usage Have valid vehicle registration Be able to lift 50lbs
Be versed in the specifics of medical deliveries.
Be able to consistently exceed quality standards in delivery operations.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Have strong relationship-building skills.
Deal well with change.
Have high attention to detail.
