The individual will report to key personnel and be responsible for daily shipping and receiving activities, inventory management, warehouse maintenance, and other projects as time permits.
This position provides extensive on the job training and has excellent growth potential for the right individual.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Prepare and pack finished goods for shipment in accordance with specified shipping and quality control per QMS procedures.
Generate shipping labels and other necessary documentation using FedEx Ship Manager Verify the accuracy of product and shipping information, i.
e.
, correct item, addresses, PO#, shipment level, and report any discrepancies prior to quality inspection activities.
Ensure daily pick-ups by FedEx and other scheduled carriers.
Receive incoming shipments including returned products (RGA's) and verify their accuracy against documentation.
Inspect incoming shipments for damage and conduct quality control per QMS procedures.
Report any issues.
Assist with inventory counts of finished products to ensure stock levels are consistent with production records and report any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory counts of all shipping materials, labeling, and other supplies.
Alert purchasing of low-stock items requiring re-ordering.
Assist with warehouse re-organization activities to improve back-room efficiencies and safety per QMS procedures.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report any potential hazards or safety risks.
Assist with other production, administration, or quality related projects as time permits.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Dependable and punctual.
Excellent attendance record.
Detail oriented - able to work under deadlines to accurately manage shipments.
Superior communication skills both written and oral Demonstrated organizational & critical thinking skills.
Multitask oriented with ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects simultaneously.
Dedicated team player with a strong work ethic.
PREFERRED
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Hand carry boxes weighing up to 30# Must be comfortable working in warehouse environment (hot/cold) Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing helpful, but not required.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
Familiarity with FedEx Ship Manager helpful.
