Principal UX Designer, Alexa UX Team

The Alexa UX team is seeking a Principal UX Designer to drive and deliver the vision of Alexa's future.
You will create innovative designs for strategic programs.
You will work closely with senior leadership, other designer teams, researchers, product management, engineering, data science and operational teams to successfully go from early stage product concepts to major launches of new features and offerings.
Key job responsibilities- Create a vision for innovative advancements in Alexa experiences, addressing complex and ambiguous challenges without sacrificing speed of delivery- Present designs and facilitate strategic design discussions to top-level executives.
- Collaborate with Alexa design and research teams to ensure a consistent and delightful experience across all customer touch points- Partner with the Product Management team to translate business requirements and use cases into delightful design solutions- Collaborate directly with software engineers and data scientists to bring the resulting designs and vision to marketA day in the lifeYou will work directly with product managers and leadership to understand requirements, and develop a CX vision that can be articulated with concrete design concepts.
You will drive consensus around this vision, including presenting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
You will socialize this vision with other design teams across Alexa, and collaborate to accommodate use cases across Alexa offerings and devices.
You will work with multiple teams in a fast paced environment.
About the teamThe Alexa UX team is at the forefront of creating innovative new Alexa experiences on Echo devices with screens, mobile apps (Alexa App), Fire TV, tablet and other devices.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bellevue, WA, USA San Francisco, CA, USA Santa Monica, CA, USA Seattle, WA, USA Sunnyvale, CA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
