Job DescriptionPrimary Function of Position:
As a member of our Fleet System and Product Operations Engineering team, the Windows Management and Software Release Engineer will work with both operations and product development teams to robustly package software builds and remotely deploy them to thousands of critical customer devices all over the world.
This position s work would involve build systems, CI/CD and Configuration Platforms such as MECM with a focus on the Windows operating system.
Successful candidates would bring both operational expertise and an excellent software engineering approach to drive efficient software deployment processes and ensure optimal system performance.

Manage Windows applications configuration management and release processesEnsure seamless deployment across multiple remote systemsDevelop and maintain Powershell scripts to automate packaging, deployment, and configuration tasks to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with software development teams to understand application requirements and dependenciesImplement best practices for version control, branching, and merging strategies using GitFacilitate traceability and code managementManage software deployments using MECM, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and security policiesConduct regular system audits to identify configuration drifts and implement corrective measuresProvide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve deployment issues and system optimizationSubmit and communicate changes as needed using change control methodologyReceive and respond to escalations from field support, DevOps teams, and product teamEscalate issues to management, if necessaryCollaborate with team as well as cross-functional team members dailyHelps promote an environment that cultivates teamworkProvides guidance, creates processes and direction for operation engineersExecute the Intuitive strategies in a cost-effective and timely mannerStay abreast of industry best practices in risk management techniques and integrate new methods/tools as appropriateCreate and maintain all aspects of documentation relative to responsibilities and processesCreate custom reports tracking environment and device performanceWork with the process development team to implement and integrate new/improved process workflowManage and maintain Windows IoT systems at enterprise scaleManage Windows system hardeningManage software deployment through Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and IntuneDocument enterprise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and systemsAs a Subject Matter Professional, takes a leadership role in executing projects/initiativesAs required.
