The Camera and Depth HW team within TED develops high-performance Camera and Depth solutions for Reality Lab's AR/VR products.
This multidisciplinary group brings research to life by realizing state-of-the-art custom modules including mixed-signal ASICs, image sensors, lasers, optics, and firmware.
The Camera and Depth HW team is seeking a Camera & Depth Electrical Engineer for end-to-end ownership of development and productization electrical engineering from early concepts to release to mass production.
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who has a passion for working across disciplines to transform research technologies into physical solutions.
Camera and Depth Electrical Engineer ResponsibilitiesAs a Camera & Depth Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the circuit design, board bring-up, implementation and debug of mixed-signal ASICs and systems used in our solutions.
You will experiment with and develop novel solutions to complex electronics problems, working closely with cross functional partners combining electronics, image sensors, optics, mechanicals, and firmware.
Responsible for the implementation and debugging of mixed-signal ASICs, board-level circuitry, high-speed RF signal integrity and systems used in our solutions.
Develop novel solutions to complex electronics problems.
Work closely with cross functional partners combining electronics, image sensors, optics, mechanicals, and firmware.
Collaborate with the System electrical engineering teams on seamless integration of camera and depth modules into Reality Labs' devices.
Develop design methodologies and Best Practices for the Camera & Depth EE team.
Implement our PDP methodology in all designs, and present your work in design reviews.
Assess vendors and manage outsourced development of PCBs.
Lead debugging and failure analysis activities.
Minimum QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in electronic hardware development3
years of consumer product life cycles of experience or related experienceExperience with system-level design including circuit design, high-speed, RF, signal integrity, PCB layout, system bring-up, integration and/or debugExperience with low-power analog circuit design, DC/DC converters, power management methods, A/D and D/A conversion and image sensorsExperience with designing the following electrical subsystems such as:
power regulators, high speed digital signal integrity (MIPI CPHY, MIPI DPHY), SOC and micro-controllers, serial-communication protocols (I2C, I3C, SPI, LVDS)Experience with schematic capture and PCB design using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro or equivalentProven understanding of power characterization and signal integrity test or equivalentExperience with developing detailed test plans and performing electrical hardware validationExperience with laboratory validation work which includes the experience to test/validate/debug completed reworks/assemblies/development platforms using oscilloscopes, frame grabber, optical sensor devices, logic analyzers, impedance analyzers, or similarExperience working in cross-culture collaborationStart preparingLearn about how to prepare for your interview with our interview guide, tips, and interactive experiences.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
