Job Description: Lead and manage a team of software QA engineers responsible for testing of Good Mobile Messaging (GMM) application, Good Access for various platforms, such as iOS, Android, Windows 7 and others. Responsibilities include managing resources and QA involvement in product releases, recruiting, hiring and training of QA staff. Management duties involve managing team members, performance, reviewing and providing feedback on software testing, design and implementation, and assigning project tasks to team members. Report to upper management on project status and risk. Will draw upon experience background and expertise in: 1) Testing embedded mobile software applications; 2) Agile development methodologies; 3) QA management 4) testing highly scalable enterprise client-server software; 5) testing various business applications; and 6) test automation tools & frameworks (TestQuest, Selenium, QTP, TestNG, etc.). This is an entry level managerial position. This position requires approximately 10% business travel which is fully reimbursed.
Education: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline e.g., Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a related field
Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in a software engineering-related occupation
Special Requirements: Must have prior work experience in the following:
1. Testing embedded mobile software applications.
2. Agile development methodologies.
3. QA management.
4. Testing highly scalable enterprise client-server software.
5. Testing various business applications.
6. Test automation tools & frameworks (TestQuest, Selenium, QTP, TestNG, etc.).
7. Certificate Management and secure email messaging (S/MIME).
8. Web Authentication Protocols.
9. Web proxy (HTTP AND HTTPS).
10. Testing on IOS and Android Platforms.
11. 10% domestic business travel, fully reimbursed.
