a search firm specializing in the Solid State lighting industry. We have positions at all levels with Architectural, commercial, Industrial, Residential, and Solid State Lighting devices, modules, Systems, lamp, and ballast manufacturers.
Our client is a fast paced innovative LED device manufacturer that is revolutionizing wafer cost and efficacy with continued focus on nanotechnology based GaN LEDs, with emphasis on color stability, temperature, efficiency, and all primary color spectrum .The team is expanding to take on the tasks of ramping up pilot production while adding new development projects. Due to imminent commercialization of product they are seeking an experienced display systems Electronics Engineer to assume the role of:
Sr. Electronics Engineer
The successfully candidate will work closely with the r&d team and other laboratory personnel in a research, development and engineering setting to provide seamless integration of product design, fabrication, development and testing.
Key responsibilities and attributes will include:
1. Design, implementation and debug of electronics to interface with displays and luminaires.
2. Must be able to translate schematics to PCB artwork.
3. Experience creating PCB artwork and interfacing with PCB fabricators.
4. Able to design electronic systems.
Must have digital, logic design experience
Skills Required:
In-depth knowledge and experience in mixed signal electronics system designs
Analog and digital circuit and system designs
PCB designs
Bring up and design of custom electronics systems
Owing and taking electronic systems design from cradle to grave
Minimum job requirements are a B.S. in electronics technology, or engineering, ability to read and follow schematic diagrams, solder, assemble mechanical parts, and preferably 3-5 years' experience in an industrial R&D environment or similar hands-on experience. Familiarity with display optics and/or devices/OLED panels, systems level design is a plus.
