Job Description
This position is an experienced professional position supporting Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics Engineering. The position will perform electronics engineering support of the completion of development activities and support of production for the three D5LE packages. Travel required to manufacturing facilities, possibly for weeks at a time, as business needs arise. Engineer will be trained to perform problem investigation of hardware acceptance testing at the part, CCA and package level. Engineer will support development close-out, including but not limited to qualification testing, requirements compliance, design disclosure documentation, pre-flight readiness preparation and post-flight data analysis. Job responsibilities will include: - Troubleshooting (determination of root cause) of Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) failures. Generate fault trees, perform analysis and generate and execute test plans to exonerate branches of the fault tree. Act as primary petitioner to Failure Review Board to gain approval of root cause determination (including all activities required to achieve such a determination). - Engineering role in Material Review Board (MRB). Execute analysis required to achieve MRB approval of hardware disposition determination. Track MRB and defects and drive hardware disposition activities to closure. MRB authority will be commensurate with knowledge and experience. - Identify and implement corrective actions relative to CCA test failures. This includes updates to Acceptance Test Requirements (ATRs), ATPs and support equipment software and hardware design and implementation. (Intent is for engineers to be capable of making changes to the ATP software implementation.) - Perform trend analysis of in-family data, failure data (Pareto analysis) and production defects. Propose appropriate production yield improvements accordingly. - Identify producibility improvements to lower cost and/or improve yield. - Extensive interaction with subcontractor - Support facility testing schedule, which may include times outside of Monday-Friday first shift business hours.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar from an accredited university. Software coding proficiency (any language). Familiarity with Electrical Engineering Simulation Tools (such as SPICE). Experience using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies). Attitudes and Behaviors: Ownership and accountability. Urgent but rigorous (drive to get to the root cause quickly, but get it right the first time). Planning discipline (develop fault trees and exoneration/troubleshooting plans up front, don't just follow the most obvious answer). Ability to perform autonomously. Excellent communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
