Production Supervisor


POSITION
Summary: The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all the processes in producing printed circuit boards (PCB) to ensure that daily shipments are met. She/He must ensure that jobs are moved to and from each department in a timely manner to prevent bottlenecks in order to meet shipment deadlines with 100% accuracy. The Production Manager will report to the President any problems that could affect the quality and delivery of our products.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Has the ultimate responsibility to make sure that products are shipped on-time with 100% accuracy.
Oversee the production processes to ensure jobs are moved according to schedules and priorities of jobs are evaluated daily.
Promptly identify, communicate, report, and resolve any problems that could affect the quality and on-time delivery of PCB orders to Director of Production and Engineers for assistance.
Communicate production status and highlight priorities with Production Control Supervisors from all shifts to ensure continuous synchronization of production efforts.
Conduct daily meetings with department heads and Production Control Supervisors to communicate hot jobs, review special alert processes, etc.
Promptly report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance department/engineering to restore the production flow to meet daily shipment.
Work with Process Engineering to resolve process problems in a timely manner to restore the flow of jobs ASAP to meet daily shipment deadlines.
Be available for daily communication meetings with Director or Production.
Provide complete management of all personnel in Production through department heads.
Work with managers to provide training to all shifts personnel and properly document the training in the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
Conduct annual reviews for direct reports in a timely manner.
Provide performance counseling as necessary and promptly.
Be available to managers and operators for any technical issues.
Be available for after-hours emergency call.

Qualifications:
7-10 years experience in managing production process in the PCB industry.
Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory position.
Bachelor's degree preferred, not mandatory
Must have a clear, thorough and up-to-date understanding of PCB designs, materials, and new technologies and of processes required to manufacture high tech PCB.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions.
Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all times.
Ability to cross-train employees as needed.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong people management skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and resolve issues related to the production process.
Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook.
Ability to learn new skills/tasks and grasp new concepts as required.
Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
Must be flexible to work extended hours base on company needs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
