Yahoo currently has a Business Systems Analyst position available at our office in Sunnyvale, CA
DUTIES: Responsible for the analysis and design of Yahoo business software systems, in conjunction with hardware requirements. Responsible for the analysis, design and development of the business facing application layer for the Yahoo Customer Relationship Management application. Drive detailed project work plan, tracks and report progress to stakeholders, facilitate and lead steering and functional team meetings. Head the coordination for the testing of new processes, systems or procedures prior to implementation. Responsible for identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks; Develop contingencies and perform analysis to provide solutions to gaps, risks, and other issues within the project. Work with Finance business process owners and relevant Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements to technology solutions related to Billing, Revenue and Payment Applications. Responsible for supporting and optimizing Core Finance platform including and not restricted to Billing/Revenue/Accounting applications. Partners with relevant Finance Process Owners to prioritize and implement enhancements. Ensures defining and meeting Service Level Agreements with relevant stakeholders. Ensures adherence to change control guidelines Partners with operations, security and infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to Yahoo standards. Responsible for implementing new technologies and systems. Coaches, mentors team members and follows Yahoo! people management processes. Collect requirements for building and supporting business applications. Analyze and design short and long term solutions for the Yahoo's Billing, Revenue and Finance systems. Plan and Perform various test cycles like integration testing, and system testing. Plan and lead Conference Room Pilot sessions for deployment. Plan and lead User Acceptance Testing for deployment. Plan, organize and conduct training to end users for deploying business solutions. Plan, organize and conduct workshops to facilitate discussions and decisions for building business applications. Provide Production support to rolled out projects. Provide Production support for month end close activities. Design and Deploy Custom Solutions leveraging Oracle Financials. Act as the liaison between cross-functional groups by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved through Oracle Financials based solutions leveraging Oracle Receivables and General Ledger. Utilize strong analytical skills to generate organizational metrics/reporting to assist with business decisions. Lead project and manage requirements gathering, functional design, and end user training and support. Work with other business systems analysts and the development team in converting the business solution into technical designs. Create and manage documentation as appropriate related to creation of desktop manuals, test scenarios, test conditions, and test scripts.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field followed by 5 years progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or computer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. Experience with technical support organization
2. Experience with direct CRM development on either Salesforce or RightNow
3. Experience with Software-as-a-Service and/or cloud-based concepts
4. HTML, and XML
5. Experience with data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systems
6. Experience working in a Customer Experience organization
7. Prior experience in systems integration projects
8. 5 years experience in the IT industry including finance systems analysis, solution design, and deployment using Oracle applications and/or other Major ERP systems
9. 5 years of experience working with Oracle Financials: Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and other Financial modules
10. SQL, TOAD for basic troubleshooting.
