Business Analyst needed for long term project work for direct client project. Client is Fortune 500, stable and growing.
Local candidates with Local experience preferred due to intensive in person interviewing.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis Role working with Technical Product Owners, Business Owners, Engineering Project Managers, etc. for implementing Mobile eCommerce Applications. Working on Gathering requirements, writing Agile User Stories, Defining Specifications, etc.
o Under general direction of senior project team members, coordinate, facilitate, execute on project goals and objects and provide periodic updates and feedback.
o Work with business user community to gather requirements, document existing business processes, and make recommendations on how to improve existing business workflows and processes, and obtain consensus from disparate business teams.
o Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis, and prototyping. Writing User Stories in an Agile Environment. Working with Jira or equivalent.
o Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
o Identify and Document Change Management Needs and Risk Analysis/Mitigation
Required Skills:
o Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
o Strong Experience with Business Analysis and Agile (Writing User Stories).
o Experience with business process re-engineering and optimization
o Software Prototyping Techniques (e.g., Evolutionary Prototyping, Incremental Prototyping, etc), User Experience, Mobile/Internet Applications
o Ability to create professional-caliber documentation including Business and Requirements Process documentation (including but not limited to UML Use Case, UML Activity Diagram), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Scripts
o Experience with Business Process Modeling tools such as MS Office, Visio, Pages, etc. and JIRA
o Experience in Agile Development environments
o Ability to meet deadlines, document and understand web publishing application and processes, write system specifications and requirement documents. Very organized and detail oriented
o Manage process, timelines, and change requests
