Software Quality Engineer
Design and execute test cases for embedded firmware. Improve software quality by increasing test coverage and reducing software test times through automation. Present results to verify performance against system level requirements and generates test reports, reporting problems using Bug Tracking software. Verify firmware and system level tests on a wide variety of GNSS receivers and packet network time synchronization protocols, such as NTP and PTP (IEEE-1588). Maintain and enhance lab for GNSS receivers and network timing. Work with R&D to participate in reviewing functional requirements, and create and maintain test plans/test cases based upon functional requirements with strong emphasis on test automation. Understand and improve system verification and software quality processes by working with cross functional teams to identify improvement areas in system testing.
