LinkedIn Corporation has the following openings. Responsible for generating value added recommendations to enhance the companys overall internal control of its operations. Review work papers of audit team, instruct other audit staff during fieldwork, prepare the audit report of observations, communicate results while in the field, and conduct additional audit responsibilities during the field audit. Assist Internal Audit management with periodic reporting to the Audit Committee, development of the annual internal audit plan, and championing internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the business. Assist in other work streams within the SOX program, traditional Internal Audit, risk assessment, and compliance. Design and execute audit programs, including SOX audits, with primary focus on the IT related domains for SOX. Identify new risk areas and implement appropriate changes to the SOX compliance program. Work in cross-functional teams (including engineering, IT Operations, Business/Enterprise Applications, sales systems) to help understand compliance requirements and provide IT controls expertise. Work with management and users to interpret the significance of audit findings, conclude on findings and make practical recommendations. Leverage working knowledge and/or auditing experience in the areas of application programming, databases and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Leverage prior programming experience to conduct audits in the engineering domain.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
