Design, develop and integrate cutting-edge software technologies. Design, develop, support, and integrate web-scale distributed systems. Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to build data driven features and products that drive user value throughout our website. Perform code reviews, and work on development projects including new front-end web services using the Play Framework and Java, and maintain and improve existing product features. Use agile development methodologies to develop code in a variety of languages including Java and Javascript. Develop REST APIs using Java, build User Interface screens and forms using the Play Framework and Javascript, and write Java back-end code that interacts with LinkedIn's other distributed systems and NoSQL data-stores. Maintain high code coverage (unit and functional tests) and good code quality (best practices and idioms) along with fast execution and support of production issues.
