Position: Sr. Oracle Applications Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 Months
The social networking giant, based out of California is looking for Sr. Oracle Applications Developer. The Developer will be a technical resource responsible for both supporting existing and implementing new functionality within the Oracle Release 12 Applications and integrated processes with external systems.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering Projects and Enhancements for the following E-Business Suite R12 modules: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Accounting, iExpense, Account Payable, Payments, iProcurement, Purchasing, Account Receivable, OTL and Absence Management. The candidate will be a part of a team of Oracle Developers and interact daily with Functional and Support analysts to enable Projects implemented in the Oracle ERP Applications and integrations with external systems. Support Business Analysts in troubleshooting application Support issues and develop solutions for enhancement and report requests. Responsible for complex development efforts in building out Project deliverables spanning multiple modules in the Oracle ERP environment and/or integrated with external systems keeping within the framework of software development life cycle and published coding standards. Responsible for developing Reports, Enhancements in E-Business Suite R12 application as well as custom applications within the Oracle EBS suite in keeping with internal coding standards. Assist Business Analysts in solving both functional and system issues within agreed-to service level agreements (SLAs). Expected to work closely with Business Analysts & Technical Leads to translate functional design specs to Technical specifications and produce well tested, successfully integrated and fully documented solutions to business problems. Develop and execute unit test plans. Perform system troubleshooting in a production support environment. Supports the maintenance of the organization's accounting related Oracle ERP by debugging issues, patch analysis, upgrades and maintenance. Should customization be necessary, analyze, design and develop customizations that are optimized to the Oracle upgrade path using Oracle recommended framework and tool sets. Develop technical specification and unit test scripts. Translate functional design into technical deliverables. Develop test strategy and author test plans as required for enhancements and patches. Provide support to Managers in development of new strategies for improving internal processes, and implementing optimal solutions through the use of technology and Oracle tool sets. Monitor effectiveness of systems and processes and make appropriate recommendations to ensure daily operations are efficient Open, manage, and resolve Oracle SR's with Oracle Support.
Requirements
Bachelors degree (preferably in Business Information Systems or Computer Science) and proven Oracle EBS development experience of 9
years with 11i or R12 Proficient with tools used to support Oracle Application development including, but not limited to PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports, Workflow, AME, OBIEE, Discoverer, Web Services, XML Publisher, JDeveloper with OA extension. Experience in Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) is required. 5
years of experience in Creating procedures, API, Packages, Functions, Triggers and other Database objects using SQL and PL/SQL, UTL file, SQL Loader, TOAD. Strong knowledge of Oracle table structures, API 039;s, Schemas, Oracle open interfaces. 5
years of extensive experience in Oracle R12 Implementation and production support. Experience in Interfaces, registering Concurrent Programs, Form Functions, Fast Formulas for validation of timecard and Tables. Developing Descriptive Flex fields in Custom Applications and defining profile values by AOL, System Administration and AIM in Oracle E- business suite Applications. Strong knowledge of Oracle table structures, API's, Schemas, Oracle open interfaces Experience in Oracle ERP integration with other platforms / 3rd party applications. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. Experience in AIM methodology and documentation and driving technical design from functional specs.
