Responsibilities:
Job Description:
- Design or redesign new or old products
- Takes new ideas or concepts and fit them into the overall design
- Makes layout and details drawings utilizing current CAD software
- Coordinates with Supplier Management in sourcing vendors
- Reviews drawings, designs, machining, welding, injection molding processes, ensure cost effective and manufacturable parts
- Performs assembly of prototypes or getting parts completed or delivered for assembly
- Works independently to plan and schedule own activities necessary to meet timelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training
- Typical experience ranges from 2 - 4 years
- Experience with value analysis and component & product design
- Required
Experience: sheet metal, machining, injection molding, light pipes design, heat transfer, thermal dissipation
- Proficient with AutoCAD,
- 3D Modeling Creo/ProE, and database PDMLink
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Power Point,
- Adobe IllustratorEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
