SPACECRAFT ATTITUDE CONTROL SYSTEM ANALYST: Perform a
broad range of spacecraft attitude control system tasks including
control system design, simulation, modeling, software algorithm
definition, implementation, data base definition, and flight
operations. Typical tasks: Perform design, analysis, simulation,
and software algorithm definition of spacecraft attitude
determination and control systems. Perform extensive linear
analysis for control system design and nonlinear software
simulation for performance prediction. Support subsystem
integration and test. Assist in anomaly resolution at the
component, system and mission level. In performing these
duties, operate under general supervision with regular review,
applying concepts to moderately difficult technical problems.
Interact with supervision and report activity.
Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance required for this role.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or
Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
Knowledge of aerospace systems and underlying principles, with
experience or in-depth training in control systems, dynamics,
and//or software. Knowledge of C+
or FORTRAN or similar
language. Ability to work collaborately with diverse groups of
people. Ability to obtain security clearance.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired skills
Existing security clearance. Coursework in non-linear control,
orbit mechanics, and inertial instruments. Knowledge of both
C/C+
and FORTRAN. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power
Point, and Word. Strong interpersonal, communications, and
presentation skills. Familiarity with Matlab design tool.
concentration in control systems. Specific control system
coursework or work experience should cover classical, modern,
linear, continuous, and discrete system analysis.
