Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics like Kindle e-reader and Echo devices.
The Ops and Supply Chain UX team designs systems and processes that make planning, manufacturing, launching, and supporting our devices as efficient and frictionless as possible.
This team is set up as a shared service thereby providing opportunities to learn and grow.
In this role, you'll have a significant impact on our business as you would drive research strategies for our organization.
We are looking for someone passionate about delivering the best possible customer experience for our products.
In addition to UX Designers, you will also work closely with a cross-functional group of engineers, product managers, research scientists, and executives to propose and drive innovations in Ops and Supply Chain products.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced user researcher interested in pushing the boundaries of user research in an Agile product development environment; a problem-solver, self-starter with a deep understanding of user research methods and best practices and takes a nimble, and pragmatic approach to research.
Key Responsibilities Perform all aspects of the UX research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and communication).
Evangelize the value of UX Research to stakeholders within the Devices - Ops and Supply Chain organization.
Understand product roadmaps and be able to translate them into long-term and short-term UX research plans.
Identify and prioritize research questions based on the analysis of existing product designs, business needs, project goals, and risks.
Work with product management and engineering to come up with requirements for capturing clickstream data.
Monitor and analyze user behavior using web usage analytics and statistical tools.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies with a focus on both generative and evaluative efforts.
Perform quick but thorough data analysis to uncover insightful and actionable results that drive tactical and strategic decisions.
Work closely with the design and product management teams to define, measure, and communicate UX research metrics and guidelines for solutions evaluated.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
