We are looking for a Senior Visual UX Designer to help us shape the future of in-cabin Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) and define a new state-of-the-art for visual interfaces in on-the-go experiences.
The role will help UX drive product vision by crafting visually compelling UI designs within our cross-functional team and throughout the full development lifecycle from concept to launch.
This role is based in Santa Clara.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a keen eye for elegant, modern visual design and UI patterns that push on what's next for vehicle HMI.
As tastemaker and storyteller, you have a deep understanding of visual systems and best practices, including color theory, typography, art direction and motion design.
You lead the way in innovating new patterns and set standards for design excellence, thinking holistically about the why of all UI we ship.
You advocate for your design solutions by putting them in context of business and customer goals.
You leverage metrics to define and measure success, and you excel at communicating ideas effectively to a larger team.
You can visualize an idea in the abstract, confidently present to senior leadership, and translate that vision into concise deliverables and hands-on building with engineering teams, ultimately elevating the visual experience of millions of Alexa customers around the world.
You have experience integrating standards from policy-making bodies (NHTSA, ISO) to develop visuals and motion graphics that are suitable for a driving context.
