What will you help us create?THE ROLEAs a Senior UX Writer on the Device Packaging Experience team, you will be responsible for developing and editing customer obsessed inbox publications' content for all Amazon branded devices.
Your copy will reflect our brand voice & tone, while maintaining content consistency across all product lines.
Inbox publications include:
Quick Start Guides, Demo Setup Guides, Warranty/Safety/Legal documents, and Things To Try cards.
RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with Hardware Product Managers, UX Designers, UX Program Managers, and other key stakeholders to develop printed and online device setup instructions and engagement pieces.
Maintain brand voice and alignment with packaging and other customer touch points via copyediting.
Create and maintain editorial style guides and master copy documents.
Ensure the highest standards of style and writing (e.
g.
, grammar, spelling, syntax, diction, punctuation, brand alignment).
Help improve processes for how content is created, delivered, and maintained.
Proofread all final documents before print.
Work closely with the subject matter experts, advocating for product and documentation innovation on behalf of the customer.
Investigate and pursue opportunities to automate content development.
Create and maintain standards/guidance for localized translations.
Continually push for the briefest, most delightful copy that enhances the device setup experience.
