The Role:
Amazon Design Technologies is a multi-disciplinary team that provides design software, develops product data management (PDM), Computer Aided Design (CAD), Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions, systems platforms and design processes to our Product Development, New Technology, Operations and Manufacturing teams.
We are looking for an ECAD Application Development Engineer with expertise in Cadence suite of applications, specifically Cadence OrCAD and Allegro to play a key role in customizing, and extending the ECAD applications used at Amazon.
This position will be responsible for leading the functional design, customizations, configurations and support of ECAD applications with a primary focus on building and deploying the systems/solutions that scale.
Core activities will include gathering and defining requirements, designing and developing scripts/automations, prototyping and developing ECAD application extensions, and support engineering tools and process automations by collaborating with teams responsible for working with Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and CAD systems.
This role will be responsible for, and have significant influence over a portion of projects in the team's work portfolio providing systems support, engineering application development, testing and deployment of engineering workflows.
At the core of this role, person is expected to Think Big and innovate through simple solutions that scale and deliver great customer value.
You will wear multiple hats and work in a highly collaborative environment to tackle problems that span a variety of domains.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
