For sale! This SONY DAT TCD-D100 Digital Player/Recorder is beings sold in AS-IS Condition for REPAIR! This is a beautiful DAT Walkman - Digital Audio Tape Player / Recorder. Includes the pictured wired remote, works fine. I went through this item and here's what we have: PLAY FUNCTION: This player plays beautifully. I have several pre-recorder DAT tapes and they play and sound perfect on this machine. Both channels work great. ALL functions work on play mode, perfectly. RECORD FUNCTION: This will record but there's a problem with record function. It will record and sounds great but.the recording cuts out, more like wavers in and out, every 3-4 seconds. I tried several recordings with different sources (CD, Cassette, tuner) with 3 different DAT tapes, same thing happened. It consistently records the same. Cosmetically this machine is in very good clean condition. There is a small hairline crack to the battery door area and a small ding on the corner - took a close-up picture of this area - see pictures. Again - this item is being sold in as-is condition for repair. Or just use it as a player and you'll be fine. There are absolutely NOT returns and most definitely NO price adjustment after the sale (this means NOT partial refunds).
