This is one of the nicer and rarer models. And boy is it a beauty. This boombox is being sold in AS-IS, as-pictured and as-described condition. For parts or repair. The boombox/radio portion works and it works well. Tested with power cord and the radio works well and picks up stations well. Sound is good from both speakers. No static on the controls. Antennas are both in good shape, straight and without dings or corrosion. Battery compartment is clean. Very very nice condition. The walkman portion - that will need some work. When tested (both by itself with AA batteries or on plugged into the boombox unit, the only functions that appears to work is the REW. Fast FWD and Play are not working, although I can hear the motor turning inside. The walkman does have a little bit of battery leak corrosion on the terminals but not enough that the battery contacts could not make a connection. Also note the cassette door is missing a plastic piece on the door. This missing piece may also be the reason the cassette door does not stay shut. SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION. For parts or repair. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
